A.I.S.E. – The International Association for Soaps, Detergents and Maintenance Products

The international Association for Soaps, Detergents and Maintenance Products (A.I.S.E.) is the official representative body of this industry in Europe. Its membership totals 34 national associations in 39 countries and also 9 direct member companies, covering about 900 companies ranging from small and medium-sized enterprises to large multinationals active both in the consumer goods market and the professional cleaning and hygiene sector (PC&H).

Safe use pictograms

The A.I.S.E. pictograms, for use in product labelling and also in training and information documents, aim to promote the correct and best use of products.

The first set of pictograms includes two categories, one to indicate the actual application area (floors, surfaces etc) and the other to illustrate the application process (manual, mechanical etc).

The second set of pictograms indicates the application area for products used in restaurants and catering.
