UKCPI welcomes new members

The UK Cleaning Products Industry Association (UKCPI) is pleased to welcome new members, following a successful exhibit at the Cleaning Show.

The first three new members are Stephenson Group, which is based in Leeds and manufactures speciality chemicals; Rozone, which manufactures a range of industrial cleaning products and is based in the West Midlands and Greyland, a cleaning chemical manufacturer based in Cheshire.

UKCPI recently exhibited at the Cleaning Show at the NEC, where it promoted a special introductory membership offer of six months free for new members.

Philip Malpass, Director General of UKCPI, commented: “We are delighted to welcome these three new members as we continue to expand our membership. We are busy processing new membership applications and expect the levels of interest at our stand to translate into more new members over the next few weeks.”

Brandon Pilling, managing director of ACDOCO and chairman of UKCPI, commented: “Being a member of a trade association can only add value to a business. UKCPI provides invaluable technical advice and guidance and pledges to keep its members abreast of current issues and regulations. This not only helps in avoiding costly mistakes, but by interacting with policy makers endeavours to protect the interests of both the company and the wider industry.

He continued: “But the best way to be involved is to become an active member because the output of any industry association is only as good as the input it receives – the more a member puts in, the more that member gets out.”
