New site offers improved access to cleaning, hygiene and sustainability information
The UK Cleaning Products Industry Association (UKCPI) has launched a new website at www.ukcpi.org.Branded ‘Cleansmart’ the site aims to help consumers navigate quickly to the information on cleaning and hygiene they need.
The website features three main points of entry: green cleaning, health & wellbeing and ask a cleaning expert. Cleaning is a cornerstone of our modern lifestyle and each section of the website offers a wealth of information on these key topics.
A key investment has been in ensuring a high level of search engine optimization to help new users find the information they need about cleaning, hygiene and sustainability.
“One of our goals with the redesign of www.ukcpi.org was to make it easier for consumers to access the facts they need,” said Philip Malpass, Director General of UKCPI. “Everyday millions of people use cleaning products to give them the clean and safe lifestyle that they expect and take for granted in the 21st century, and the website gives people the information they need to achieve that lifestyle in a clear and informative way.”
The media room offers access to UKCPI publications and the latest news releases. In the education section, teaching professionals can download the popular Hooray for Handwashing materials for schools, whilst professional cleaners can download the latest guide to sustainable cleaning.
The website will be updated on a regular basis with news and tips, as will the twitter feed @UKCPI_cleaning, so check back to see what’s new at www.ukcpi.org
