Rowland Furse of Henkel was elected Chair of UKCPI’s Council at the recent AGM on 20th November. He commented: “I am looking forward to my time as Chair of our association and helping to steer our important issues, such as post-Brexit regulatory issues, plastic tax and the clean air policy, towards a good outcome for our membership.”
Philip Malpass, Director General of UKCPI, said: “We are delighted to welcome our new Chair Rowland Furse, who will effectively represent the interests of our members at Council level”.
Nominations are welcome for the Vice Chair position to support Rowland on Council.
The AGM was followed by UKCPI’s annual dinner for members and guests, held in the House of Commons. This year’s guest speaker was the very entertaining comedian Simon Evans and the event provided a useful networking opportunity.
