Interested in Joining UKCPI?
UKCPI is the UK Trade Association which represents the broad range of products involved in cleaning, including soaps, hygiene, surface care and air care. The Members we represent covers the vast majority of the UK Market for home and professional use. Membership is also open to suppliers to the Industry. We warmly welcome new members.
The UKCPI acts as the focal point for contact with a wide range of organisations from UK Government, the European Union, the media, consumer groups and other industry members. The UKCPI is in an unrivalled position to keep each of its Members either collectively or individually, informed and to represent the Industry views.
We take particular care to serve smaller Member Companies, who often require more specific assistance in keeping abreast of regulations and industry specific information. UKCPI has created regional UK meetings and a technical helpdesk for all Members to provide information, guidance and expert assistance.
As a UKCPI Member you can expect:
- Regular Regional Meetings to allow discussion with fellow Members, information and clear advice on legislative and Industry-wide issues.
- Professional representation to UK Government and the EU to ensure effects on the Industry are taken into account.
- Up to date information on issues and guidelines on a regular basis.
- Specific guidance notes on particular issues.
- Individual help to Members where possible.
- The provision of factual information to opinion formers and the general public to combat common misconceptions which could potentially harm the Industry image.
- The promotion of good working practices through guidelines and voluntary Industry agreements.

UKCPI brings manufacturers and suppliers of these products together into one unique and comprehensive Industry body. UKCPI builds upon and expands the original Soap and Detergent Industry Association (SDIA), one of the longest-established UK Trade Associations representing soap and detergent manufacturers and suppliers for over 50 years.
